After entrusting Haku with the princess along with his little sister, Oshutoru’s body and soul scattered in the wind, becoming part of the world around him. And Haku vanished as well. To save everyone he donned the mask he had been left with, and chose to live on as Oshutoru.
Haku, armed with Oshutoru’s status and his own resourcefulness, does his utmost to persevere as the world is thrown into chaos. Nekone, who in order to succeed her brothers will, devotes herself to supporting Haku, killing her emotions in the process. Their friends, having lost both Haku and Kuon, are now overwhelmed by sadness and grief. And the encroaching flames of war which are now about to overwhelm Ennakamui: It is the beginning of a war that will, in time, engulf the entire nation of Yamato.
