Rockman DASH Hagane no Boukenkokoro (a.k.a. Mega Man Legends 2) takes the long-running 2D franchise and gives it a cool 3D makeover. The sequel to the original Mega Man Legends, this sequel was originally released on PS2, but is getting a full PSP makeover, including formatting the game screen into the PSP's anamorphic 16:9 aspect ratio. Accompanying Rockman (or Mega Man) is his whole cast of familiar characters, including Roll, Tron Bonne and her lovable Servbots, dancing monkey Data and Glyde. The story takes place in an isolated wasteland which turns out to be the location of an infamous treasure.
Mega Man Legends 2 features the same action-RPG gameplay as the first entry in the series, but of course with a great deal of enhancements. Now there are several towns, instead of a one-town island, together with a few remote areas for you to explore. Gamers travel on a world map to different locations in a giant airship, the Flutter, and descend into one of the many dungeons for a dig. There's also plenty of enemies for Mega Man to take on with his standard Buster Weapon - but in true Mega Man style, the Buster can get upgraded into an untold number of snazzy weapons!

Taiko no Tatsujin Portable (AKA Taiko: Drum Master), one of the best-selling rhythm games ever, makes it to PSP! The D-pad and buttons will be used for hitting the drum, while the shoulder buttons are used to strike the sides of the drums. One exclusive feature to the PSP edition of Taiko no Tatsujin Portable is the inclusion of a special new note, which requires you to spin the analog thumbpad around as fast as you can. Clear a set number of revolutions and a door will open, revealing a secret character. This portable version also comes with three intriguing mini games, and multiplayer will also be supported. Two players will be able to use the same PSP to play with one another, or you can have four consoles connected via WiFi for a concert. Taiko no Tatsujin Portable includes a large list of songs, with J-pop, classical, anime, variety and Namco original music all accounted for. Notable entries, amongst the 38 tunes, include Hana ("Flower") by Orange Range and No More Cry by D-51.

School Rumble hits the Sony PSP! Adapted from the popular Japanese anime/manga, School Rumble: Nesan Jiken Desu features a unique conversation-based gameplay style with which to experience the title's original storyline. The story unfolds on an ordinary summer school day. As the bewildered high-school girl, Tenma Tsukamoto, players must figure out the mystery behind the sudden and bizarre collapse of their classmate - and Tenma's "Prince Charming" - Ouji Karasume. At the same time, bad-boy classmate Harima Kenji just so happens to be a secret admirer of Tenma. This love triangle gets explored in this conversation-based RPG adventure, which features fully-voiced dialogue using the original anime cast. Several other characters, including Yakumo Tsukamoto, Kyousuke Imadori, Karen Ichijou, and Haruki Hanai, also make appearances, and each character is fully voiced too.
The gameplay of School Rumble: Nesan Jiken Desu consists of investigating various locales while conversing with people in order to piece together the clues and solve the mystery. Through reading text and listening to dialogue, players select one out of a number of paths to change the flow of the story, which can result in multiple endings and more than a few surprises. Plus, players can use the "Perspective Switch" system, which allows for the story to be viewed from an alternate character's perspective in order to get a better grasp on the mystery.

Mash buttons like there's no tomorrow in Sengoku Cannon! This action game, based on the classic Sengoku Ace game franchise, makes its debut on the PSP as a side-scrolling shooter. The game features a total of ten playable characters, all designed by Jun Tsukasa, the artist behind the previous games in the series. Leading the cast is one-eyed blond samurai Ein and female shaman Koyori, both members of previous Sengoku Ace games, and new characters include Mizuka, a disciple of a previous Sengoku Ace character, and Masamitsu, a young man out to find his missing fiancee. Players take on the roles of these samurai, who fly (!) through the sky and blast foes with a variety of psychic weapons. Holding down the button charges a supershot, and there's even a powerful weapon called the cannon shot at the player's disposal.

The complex 3D environments the series is known for have been carried over on the PSP in their entirety. Enhanced stealth manoeuvres challenge your ninja skills, and all-new kill moves add yet more realism and entertainment to this ninja-based action adventure. Now, every enemy is susceptible to carefully planned stealth kills – even the end level bosses!
- All of the classic Tenchu characters return in scenario mode, including Rikimaru, Ayame, Rin, and Tesshu. Each character is tied to a different story, and each story offers different levels to play through. In addition to the scenario mode, there is also a ‘free mission’ mode that’s comprised of 50 independent missions to enjoy after you have completed the single-player campaign.
- Tenchu: Time of the Assassins also features a robust multiplayer component that allows players to connect via a local (Ad-Hoc) connection to play cooperative and head-to-head games. A compelling level editor gives players a powerful tool for allowing them to create their own stages and share them with friends, also via ad hoc download.

Popular gaming mainstay Bomberman makes his debut on the PSP with Bomberman Panic Bomber! A puzzle/action game not unlike Tetris, Bomberman Panic Bomber asks players to match bombs of the same color to make them explode and clear space on the playing field. While that gameplay in itself might not seem all that revolutionary, Bomberman Panic Bomber features enough variety to keep even a hardcore gamer occupied! In addition to a "COM Attack" mode versus the computer, there's a "Score Attack", and a "Challenge Attack", which features a whopping 50 minigames. Even more, you can connect with up to 3 other players for wireless Bomberman Panic Bomber action, and only 1 of the players needs to own the game! The other 3 can simply operate off that 1 player's UMD, making Bomberman Panic Bomber not only fun, but surprisingly economical, too!
