For eons, humans are under the attack from horned and fanged monsters called the "oni". They are caused by the a twist in time and dimension called "Omagatoki". To protect humans from total annihilation, Mononofu warriors march off to hunt down these Oni.
Oni have stunning regenerative powers and their skins are so tough that hacking against them in tandem is futile. The warriors have to concentrate their attacks on slicing off their limbs before they can take them down. Confident players can take on the oni themselves, or they can join up with allies in the real world through the networking mode.
The system lets Vita players communicate with Sony PSP gamers, so no matter which console you own, you can find your team.
