DJ Max Portable: Hot Tunes is an music game for the PlayStation Portable published and developed by Pentavision in South Korea, and is a compilation edition of the DJ Max Portable game series to be exclusively released in Japan, the first DJ Max game to be formally released there. Overall, it is the sixth installment of the DJMAX series for the PlayStation Portable platform.
The game will feature content from both DJ Max Portable and DJ Max Portable 2. The game is intended to be beginner-friendly; Pentavision states that players who have never played the DJ Max series would find it easy to play.
