Description

Brought to PlayStation Network's PlayStation Minis library as a faithful adaptation of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's legendary Fighting Fantasy series of game books, Fighting Fantasy features a Tarot Card character generation system, and the classic dice-rolling rule set you know and love, with optional all-new Battle and Test Your Luck systems for bold adventurers to explore.

For the second game of the Fighting Fantasy series made available via PlayStation Network, developer Laughing Jackal has made several changes to the game since Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death. The Log Book now remembers which book you were in (Character, Item or Page.) A ‘Good’ generic alignment portrait has been added to Character Bios. And a new mini game has been added to the end of the quest. Expect an even more polished simulation of the classic game book structure in digital form with The Warlock of Firetop Mountain.

  • Classic mode – experience Fighting Fantasy in its original format, with classic dice-rolling combat.
  • New game mode – featuring additional game features exciting combat and brand new SKILL tests.
  • Brand new character creation system, combining the best of the old with all-new presentation.
  • Character Biographies – learn more about the people and creatures encountered on your adventure.
  • Item Biographies – gain insight into the uses and pitfalls of the various items you’ll find.
  • Page Biographies – Keep track of which areas of the book you’ve visited, and exactly what you did there.
  • Additional improvements over the first PS Minis game -- the Warlock of Firetop Mountain now offers an improved Log Book, easier page navigation, additional character bio portraits, and a new end-game minigame.
